Spicy Korean BBQ Marinade
Spicy Korean BBQ marinade:
Ingredients:
1/2 cup gochujang (Korean chili paste)
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup honey
2 tablespoons rice vinegar
2 tablespoons sesame oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon grated ginger
Instructions:
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the gochujang, soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger until well combined.
Taste and adjust the seasoning as needed. If you like it spicier, add more gochujang. If you like it sweeter, add more honey.
Transfer the marinade to a resealable plastic bag or a container with a tight-fitting lid.
Add your protein of choice (such as beef, chicken, or pork) to the marinade, making sure it is completely coated.
Seal the bag or container and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours or up to overnight.
When ready to cook, remove the protein from the marinade and discard any excess marinade.
Grill, bake, or pan-fry the protein until cooked to your desired doneness.
Serve with steamed rice and your favorite side dishes.
