Spicy Slow Cooker Beef and Broccoli (Serves six to eight people)
Ingredients:
2 lbs. beef sirloin, sliced into thin strips
2 cups broccoli florets
1 onion, chopped
4 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup beef broth
1/4 cup honey
2 tbsp. rice vinegar
1 tbsp. sesame oil
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1 tbsp. Sriracha sauce (or more to taste)
1 tsp. ginger powder
1/2 tsp. black pepper

In a bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, beef broth, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, cornstarch, Sriracha sauce, ginger powder, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown the beef strips in batches until browned on all sides. Transfer the beef to the slow cooker.
Add the onion, garlic, and broccoli florets to the slow cooker.
Pour the sauce over the beef and vegetables and stir well to coat.
Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours, or on high for 3-4 hours, until the beef is tender and the vegetables are cooked to your liking.
Serve hot over steamed rice, garnished with sesame seeds and sliced green onions.
